Welcome to the Erickson Lab at Cornell University
Our research interests involve the study of microfluidics and photonics as applied to optofluidics, nanomanipulation, energy and sustainability, nanotechnology, biomedical diagnostics, and self-reliant microsystems. Our research is inherently multidisciplinary and involves fluid physics, photonics, nanofabrication, chemistry and biology. We also emphasize transition of our technologies to the market place through the formation of start-ups and other commercial interactions.
Some of our major research thrusts are outlined to the right and detailed information is available from the research page.
